Cassie MacDonald
Cassie has been a member of the Cabot Physiotherapy team since 2018. Hailing from Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Cassie completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry at Cape Breton University. She then moved to Halifax where she received her Master of Science, Physiotherapy degree from Dalhousie University.
Cassie has continued her education by taking post graduate courses, including Neuro-Proprioceptive taping, Concussion Assessment and Rehabilitation, Bio Medical Dry Needling, Mulligan Concept for the Upper Extremity, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and Clinical Pilates with a Pelvic Health Perspective. Her clinical experience includes working with a wide range of age groups, from aiding children in motor skill development to supporting seniors in fall prevention.
In her spare time Cassie enjoys playing volleyball, exploring beautiful Cape Breton, and spending time with friends and family.
