What to expect from your first pelvic physio appointment…
Your first session will be one hour in a private room with a female pelvic health physiothearpist. We want to hear your story, this will include how your symptoms currently impact your life, a thorough history, and your goals. Together we can formulate a game plan to reach your ideal outcome. An assessment can include but is not limited to spinal movements, hip function, abdominal assessment, and internal vaginal or rectal exam.
Follow-up sessions can run between 30-45 minutes and are typically scheduled 2-4 weeks apart.
Internal Exam
The internal exam allows the therapist to develop an individualized treatment plan.
