Cabot Physiotherapy offers specialized care in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. Our Pelvic Health team - Melissa McDonough PT, and Lauren Smith PT, have advanced training in this area. This includes the therapeutic treatment of all conditions affecting the pelvis and pelvic floor. All pelvic health appointments are conducted in comfortable private rooms to put patients at ease when addressing these sensitive issues.
Our pelvic health physiotherapists provide education and a personalized treatment program to address your pelvic conditions. Some of the pelvic conditions we treat at our clinic are:
Pregnancy & postpartum

Initial Assessment
Your first session is a one-hour private assessment with a female pelvic health physiotherapist. We will discuss your symptoms, medical history, goals, and how your condition affects your daily life.
Follow-Up Visits
Follow-up appointments are typically 30-45 minutes and scheduled every 2-4 weeks depending on your treatment plan.
What May Be Included
Internal vaginal or rectal exam (if appropriate and consented to)
Spinal movement assessment
Hip function testing
Abdominal assessment
