Laura Crouse

Laura grew up here in beautiful Cape Breton before venturing off to Dalhousie University, where she graduated with a BSc in Kinesiology in 2006, followed by an MSc in Physiotherapy in 2009. She then headed to Grande Prairie, gaining most of her experience in private practice and as part of a multidisciplinary Persistent Pain Program, as well as in hospital and school settings. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Alberta Summer Games, Arctic Winter Games, and Western Canada Summer Games. In the fall of 2020, she made the move back home and joined the Cabot team.

Laura continues to further her education by taking post-graduate courses to provide her with a wider range of skills and knowledge to better help her clients, including pelvic health, manual therapy, Pilates, acupuncture, and dry needling. She has special interests in persistent pain conditions, athletic injuries, and temporomandibular (TMJ) dysfunction.

She spends as much time as she can with her husband and boys exploring the local trails on foot, bikes, or skis, as well as swimming and paddle boarding on the lakes.
